Our Story: Born in France, DBR founder Joshua Raymond came to Texas at the age of 12. Raymond started making clothing at 14 when he learned to sew. As an adult working in healthcare, Raymond continued to pursue his passions as a clothier, designing and making his own wardrobe for  music festivals, raves, circuit parties and events alike. A longtime raver and devotee of queer nightlife, Raymond saw others express their individuality through their going-out wardrobes and realized he could use his own sewing talents to do the same.

In 2022, Raymond founded DBR, seeking to extend the confidence he felt wearing his own pieces to a larger audience.

Who We Are: Raymond hopes DBR’s designs help you to take a breath, live in the moment, and dance like no one’s watching. DBR clothing thrives on the simple premise that when you walk into a room, all eyes should be on you. In a DBR piece, confidence is a foregone conclusion - we design outfits for nights you won’t remember and memories you’ll never forget. DBR says that your clothes should reflect the boldness of your personality, whether you’re a longtime clotheshorse or just learning to express yourself through fashion. Simply put, DBR answers the question: “Why not you?”
